The Usher Ministry serves as the church doorkeepers to ensure that worshippers feel welcome and assist the Pastor by maintaining reverence and order so members and visitors may receive the message. Ushers combine a warm welcome with a pleasant smile as they direct and seat worshippers., The ministry offers fellowship with other sisters and brothers in Christ and an opportunity to serve God in His House. Evangelism, no ministry in the church is more vital. Evangelism involves several key actions: telling the good news, announcing the kingdom (reign) of God, and bearing witness. We'd love to have you join us! We’re called as followers of Christ to share His message of hope and love, leading others to a life-changing personal relationship with Him. Christ calls us to share His promise of eternal love in and outside the church, so that others can do the same.
The goal of Hospitality Ministry is to bring honor and glory to God by providing a warm spirit of Christian friendliness to all attendees so that each person will feel genuine Christian affection, and first-time visitors will want to return. The Hospitality Ministry exists because we recognize that every person who comes to church has a common need of acceptance. Hospitality is a willingness to share, with discernment, what God has given us, including our family, home, finances, and food. It is an attitude of stewardship, where we do not own anything because we are merely the caretaker for the real owner, God. He desires that we share His stuff and His love, and we comply out of reverence and gratitude to Him. We'd love to have you join us!
The purpose of the Media Ministry here at RPPT Church is to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media, and to equip other ministries of the church to use digital and electronic media as a worship and outreach tool. This ministry not only provides the technical support required for our worship services, but also records various events, teachings and sermons, which are made available on DVD and for viewing or podcasting at our website. Food Pantry is a ministry that ministers the love of God by actively responding to both the physical and spiritual needs within the community. It provides food staples for individuals and families that are in need. Every individual that utilizes this ministry is greeted with God's love, care, and are ministered to with prayer. Food Pantry items are received from Long Island Cares as well as donations from the RPPT church family. Your continued support to help is a blessing for all.In the Bible, Jesus commands us to feed all of God’s people. So, we developed two methods to help feed each other in Long Island and New York City, and now we find ourselves feeding ourselves and hundreds of our neighbors every week
The objective of the dance ministry is to minister and evangelize the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the art of dance and pageantry. We are committed to bringing glory to God not just in our local house of worship but expanding to reach our community. Our desire is to express the love, power, mercy and dominion of Jesus Christ through the use of expressive worship.
